How to do a French accent

  1. Turn 'th' into 'z' or 's': 'zis', 'zat', 'sink' for think.
  2. Drop the H at the start of words: ''onestly', ''appy'.
  3. Stress the last syllable of words and phrases: 'disappoin-TED', 'croiss-ANT'.
  4. Make R a soft gargle at the back of the throat, and keep vowels pure.

The most common mistake

Stressing English words the English way; moving stress to the end makes it French.
