The short version

Impresh has no accounts and no advertising trackers. Your recording is used once, to score it, and is then deleted. We never keep or sell recordings.

Your recordings

When you record a voice, the recording is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and passed to Google's Gemini AI service, which listens to it and returns a score and a comment. Our server deletes the recording as soon as the score is back. Google processes it under its paid Gemini API terms, which say it is not used to train Google's models. The "Hear yourself" button plays the copy that stays on your own phone, and that copy disappears when you close the page.

What we count

We keep anonymous daily totals, such as how many games were started or finished, which category was picked, and how many scores fell in each range. These totals contain no names, recordings or device identifiers.

Your internet address

To stop abuse, our server remembers how many recordings came from each internet address in the last hour. This is kept in memory only and forgotten within the hour. Our web server also keeps short technical logs for security.

Player names

Names you type for a party game stay on your phone. They are never sent to us.

Fonts

Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's font servers.

Children

Impresh is not aimed at children under 13.
