How to do it
- Start fast and mid-pitch, rattling through names as the ball moves.
- Rise in pitch and volume with each phrase so the build is obvious.
- Stretch the key word at the peak: 'it's iiiin!' Hold it as long as your breath lasts.
- After the scream, drop back suddenly to breathless disbelief for the last line.
The most common mistake
Shouting the whole thing at one level, so there is nowhere left to go for the goal.
