🦁 How to Do A Nature Documentary Voice (and Test It)
The wildlife narrator speaks softly in calm British tones, as if any noise might scare the animal away. Wonder and patience carry every phrase.

How to do it
- Drop to a near whisper but keep it breathy and clear, as if hiding in long grass.
- Slow right down and add pauses before the animal does something: 'And now... it moves.'
- Use gentle RP vowels with no R at word ends: 'habitat', 'remahkable'.
- Let your pitch rise slightly with awe on the key word, then sink back down.
The most common mistake
Speaking at full volume; the hush is what makes it sound like a documentary.
